With a southwesterly flow, we will remain on the warm side of the weather pattern throughout the upcoming weekend and well into the following week. Although southerly foehn effects will continue to influence the weather, conditions north of the main Alpine ridge will remain quite changeable, with extensive cloud cover frequently moving across the sun. Truly beautiful, golden October weather is unlikely to establish itself, at least until Sunday. Along the main Alpine ridge, cloud cover will naturally be thicker, and the sun will be less visible. Precipitation, which may extend northwards across the main Alpine ridge, is expected on Friday morning and again over the course of Saturday. However, significant rainfall amounts are not anticipated away from the Alpine ridge itself. Most areas will stay dry, and the sun may occasionally appear for longer periods, especially as we move into the new week. Overall, temperatures will remain warm, with the snow line around 3000 meters above sea level and the frost line significantly higher.
