A gloomy Tuesday is followed by an equally gloomy start to Wednesday. Widespread light precipitation is expected, especially in the morning, particularly around the main Alpine ridge. The snow line is above 2,000 meters. After noon, the clouds will begin to break up gradually from north to south. With sunshine, larger cumulus clouds may develop in the still slightly unstable air mass, which could well lead to the occasional shower. By Thursday, the weather will then change again. Air pressure will rise sharply from the north, and very dry air will once again flow into our region. This means that on Thursday and Friday, we’ll have bright, beautiful weather combined with pleasantly warm spring temperatures. On Saturday, high-level veil clouds will mark the continuing influx of warm air. On Sunday, a few more substantial cumulus clouds will mix in with the thin cloud fields as the day progresses. Nevertheless, the weather will remain dry and stable.
