Over the upcoming days, we’ll be experiencing a period of weather with temperatures that are much more typical for this time of year than we’ve seen recently. Late winter is finally making its presence felt, but further snowfall is not expected for the near future. Monday will start with some residual cloud cover overnight, which will quickly clear, allowing plenty of sunshine for the rest of the day. On Tuesday, the weather will remain changeable for the moment, with a brisk, cold northwesterly wind. A strong high-pressure system will take hold on Wednesday and Thursday. Bright sunshine will dominate the skies, with clouds being the exception. The next weather system, bringing thicker clouds and some precipitation starting in the late afternoon, is expected on Friday. The snow line will be at 1000 meters above sea level, but not much fresh snow is expected. The weekend looks brighter again, though it will remain late-winter cold.
