Chainless Race

4th and 5th July

On 4 and 5 July 2026, Silvapark Galtür, set at over 1,600 metres above sea level, becomes the stage for one of the most unusual race formats in the mountain bike scene. The Chainless Race of the SENDERS Cup 2026 challenges riders to complete a selected section of the course entirely without a chain. What counts is the pure feel for the bike: precise line choice, controlled weight distribution and clean technique determine victory or defeat.

The flowy trails of Silvapark Galtür, located at over 1,600 meters above sea level, provide the perfect setting and make the Chainless Race one of the most unique stops of the SENDERS Cup 2026.

Saturday, July 4, 2026

  • All day: Free riding – course inspection and familiarization with the Chainless track
  • 4:00 – 6:00 PM: Bib pickup – registration and distribution of race numbers
  • from 6:00 PM: Pasta party – free for all participants

Sunday, July 5, 2026 – Race Day

  • 8:00 – 10:00 AM: Bib pickup – registration and distribution of race numbers
  • 9:00 – 10:00 AM: Free training – final course inspection
  • 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Run 1 – each category starts separately, fastest time counts
  • 1:00 – 4:00 PM: Run 2 – each category starts separately
  • afterwards: Award ceremony – prize giving for all categories
