High air pressure will continue to dictate the weather for us until Thursday. However, a cold front on Friday is now expected to be significantly weaker, meaning the fine weather will only be briefly interrupted. Consequently, temperatures will not drop as sharply as had recently been anticipated. On Thursday, sunshine will once again prevail, with only a few harmless, high cirrus clouds mixing in with the sun as the day progresses. Thicker clouds will dominate the sky on Friday, and it will be slightly cooler. However, precipitation is currently not expected. What seems certain is that bright sunshine will return over the weekend. At the same time, temperatures will start to rise again. Saturday promises pure sunshine, whilst on Sunday a few cumulus clouds will join the sunshine as the day progresses. As the new week begins, more clouds will generally mix into the weather. The likelihood of showers will increase, and temperatures will drop slightly.
