Weak high pressure will determine the weather on Wednesday. This means that the sun will shine for longer periods and only a few patches of fog or high fog and some high-altitude veil clouds could cause some disruption. Temperatures will be pleasant. A weak Atlantic front will pass us by on Thursday. This means that there will be more clouds and a small risk of rain showers. However, the sun will also make an appearance at times. In the following days, we will be on the eastern edge of a high-pressure area in the vicinity of a mostly north-westerly upper air flow. This means that we can expect frequent cloud fields, which may even block out the sun locally. However, the sun should shine more often, especially in the inner Alps. Temperatures will remain largely unchanged and, especially in the sun, will be typical for this time of year.
