A significant and sustained improvement in the weather is still not on the cards at the start of the week. A weak warm front with lots of cloud fields is crossing our region. Any rain showers will be negligible. Temperatures will rise only slightly. On Tuesday, in the run-up to an Atlantic front, significantly warmer air will be directed towards us for a short time and the sun will finally shine for longer periods. Later in the day or during the night leading into Wednesday, the likelihood of showers will temporarily increase again. On Wednesday, an offshoot of the Azores high will build up over us, and it will quickly become sunnier and warmer again. In the second half of the week, temperatures will rise significantly overall, and midsummer will pick up speed. It is questionable when the first heat thunderstorms will appear.
