Easy circular hike Diasweg - Heiligkreuz Chapel - Ruhestein Chapel

From the village square in Kappl, the hike leads you to the hamlet of „Ulmich“. After „Höfen“ take the forest trail no. 6 (towards „Dias“) on the right side. After a while you will reach the Heiligkreuz chapel and after that a big forest glade where the Ruhestein chapel is situated, which was built in 1817. This spot is perfect to take a little break and enjoy nature.
Return section: the way back leads you to the sign „Kappl“ or „Dias“. Here chose the forest path, that goes left which takes you to the municipal road, from where you reach the village sqaure passing the hamlet of „Egg“.

The autoroute (A12 (westbound) or A14 (eastbound)) leads you to the Arlbergschnellstraße (S 16). At the exit for Pians, turn onto the Paznauntalstraße (B 188) and follow its course into the Paznaun.

With the railway station in Landeck, the Paznaun is optimally connected to the Austrian train network. From Landeck-Zams station, only a short bus ride separates you from the Paznaun. Every half hour, line bus 260 runs from there through the valley. Bus stop: Kappl Dorf
