A via ferrata for beginners of all ages

The via ferrata "Little Ballun" is the most recent in Galtür. The entry point of the via ferrata is reachable within a few minutes from the mountain station of the Birkhanbahn and suitable for children from eight years onwards. The primary rock via ferrata is well-secured - of course, you need the have the necessary via ferrata equipment set.
The level of difficulty is mainly in between A and B. Adults with some climbing experience manage the 100 meters in about 30-90 minutes. With children, you need to plan more time.
The view across the surrounding mountains is terrific.

With the railway station in Landeck, the Paznaun is optimally connected to the Austrian train network. From Landeck-Zams station, only a short bus ride separates you from the Paznaun. Every half hour, line bus 260 runs from there through the valley.
