Boulder Area - Silvapark Galtür

The boulder blocks of Galtür are worth a trip - not only since Memento by Bernd Zangerl. The area is beautifully situated at the foot of the Ballunspitze and due to the altitude, pleasant temperatures prevail even in high summer. In the bouldering area you can find 445 boulder routes in a total of 195 blocks, of any difficulty. Of course, the pure challenge is "Anam Cara" with 8c. But everything is represented here - beginner-friendly friction slabs, technical cracks and far overhanging roofs!

The equally ingenious and impressive Silvapark in Galtür, located at the foot of the Ballunspitze, is an absolute bouldering highlight with its 14 sectors, and not just for kids. Always at your back: the breathtaking mountain landscape of the Silvretta Mountains.

There are 2 possibilities to access the area: 1. Mountain station Birkhahnbahn (park directly in the village and go with the lift to the boulder area). Day ticket: 4 Euros, summer ticket 40 Euros 2. Drive along the Silvretta Hochalpenstrape (Silvretta high alpine road) towards Silvrettastausee. After 2 km turn right towards Kopsstausee. Park after 2 km and by foot along a mountain road directly to the boulder area. To the first sectors you need ca. 20 minutes.

With the train station in Landeck, Paznaun is perfectly connected to the Austrian train network. From the train station Landeck-Zams only a short bus ride separates you from Paznaun. Every hour the bus 260 runs from there in the direction of Ischgl.
