Description
By bike, start at the valley station of the Medrigjoch cable car in See. First ride a few metres parallel to the cable car and then turn left. The trail brings you to the outskirts of See and joins a forest path that leads through the Kirchwald forest to the panorama restaurant of the See cable cars (1,850 m). From here, the trail again climbs in wide turns up to the Ascherhütte mountain lodge (2,256 m). At the hut there is a bike depot and a fantastic view of the Verwallgruppe with the Hoher Riffler. The hut is also worth a visit for its culinary delights. After refreshments, the hike of the combined tour starts. Via the Medrigjoch and the Furglerjoch, the route leads up to the summit. With its 3,004 m, the Furgler belongs to the group of three-thousand-metre peaks.
Tip: To shorten the bike route, take the gondola from See to the top station of the Medrigjoch cable car.
