By the middle of next week, we will still have to prepare for persistently very changeable weather. Afterward, a high-pressure system will bring long-term improvements in the weather. However, for the time being, a very powerful cold front will pass over us on Sunday night. Temperatures will drop once again, and the snowline will decrease to around 1000 meters above sea level. On Sunday itself, the weather will calm down before a warm front will move in during Sunday night, finally pushing the wintry cold air masses to the east. On Monday and Tuesday, very mild and humid Atlantic air masses will dominate the weather. With mostly heavy cloud cover, there will be frequent and prolonged, as well as heavy precipitation. The snowline will be close to 2000 meters above sea level. Only on Wednesday the temperatures will slowly begin to drop again, and by Thursday, the snowline will drop below 1000 meters above sea level once more.
