The low-pressure systems bringing precipitation will remain well away from us for now. However, the flow will temporarily shift to a more northerly direction for a few days, causing the southern foehn wind in the mountains to die down and slightly colder air to seep in. However, there will be no significant cold snap, with temperatures simply adjusting to the season. On Sunday, there will be high fog-like cloud cover from the north, but this will give way to sunshine again on Monday. Next Tuesday will bring a pleasant mix of sun and clouds. Sunshine should dominate in the middle of the week, and temperatures will begin to rise slightly again. This is due to a new southerly foehn wind, which will establish itself in our region during the middle of the week. As a result, the frost line will rise again to well above 3000 meters above sea level.
