At the start of the week, a weak high-pressure system will continue to dominate. However, the weather will not be entirely stable, so on Monday some patches of cloud will reach our region, obscuring the sun. Even isolated rain showers or thunderstorms cannot be ruled out. On Tuesday, ahead of a cold front, we can expect a mostly dry mix of sunshine and cloud. On both days, it will still be summery and warm. On Wednesday, the bad-weather front will sweep across our region, bringing thick clouds, rain and showers. At the same time, temperatures will drop, signalling the arrival of autumn. In the high mountains, there may even be some snow. In the second half of the week, the sun will make an appearance from time to time, but the weather won’t remain stable for long.
